Kuro-chan (クロちゃん) is one of the three cats the Kawamoto family primarily care for. Kuro-chan is the black cat of the trio.
Although in the story, all three cats are referred to generically in a group (typically as "kitties", or nyaa-tachi), they have been given individual names by Chica Umino outside of the story. For example, Umino shows a picture of a Kuro-chan decoration at a cafe in one tweet[1].
